Dizzy has pointed out the impossible defence that had to be given by Mark Dixie's solicitors at his recent trial.

What I found more amusing was the comment by a senior police officer involved in the case.

I haven't got the quote verbatim, but the essence of it was, "What are the odds of a homicidal maniac and a necrophiliac being in the same street on the same night".
